Keeping Your Focus On Piano Playing

Hi,

During the last months I decided I have covered so many classics in Piano-Play-It that it's now time to go for some hits. The fact that there are such great songs going on right now in "Billboard" helped me realize that I have made the right decision.

So I have made a piano tutorial for two amazing songs.

1. Forget You by Cee Lo Green

This song rocks! It has that great vibe I heard in just a few songs like "Wake me up before you go go" back in the days. If you're crazy about Glee like me you can't help but playing that song on and on. Now you can also play it as well :)

2. Grenade by Bruno Mars

It seems like they're playing that song everywhere in the radio. Bruno sounded like Michael Jackson a little bit at first to me. Anyways, this song has something you want to sing along with so I made a tutorial for it as well.

3. Last but not least, for those of you who think, what about the classics? Is he stopping doing them? The answer is... Definitely not! And I have made a handy tutorial on how to play "Your Song" by Elton John to prove that.

I have no idea why it took me that long before I covered one of his songs but better late than never right?

4. One last thing I'd like to tell you guys is that Ido and me are seriously working on our first self-made Piano book. And this is really good news and here's why.

Since we're teaching piano forever now and we're familiar with the weak points of most of our students we have reached the conclusion that many of you simply don't like reading piano notes.

Since we believe playing is much more than that we've created a method that will get you to where you want WITHOUT having to read notes at first. Instead you'll be playing lots of great songs and improve your motor skills and fluency. Sounds great ha? Give us a few weekד and we'll place it online.

For now you might want to check the Gospel Keys piano course. I have been getting so many requests from students who were looking for a handy Gospel Course and so I decided to share my insight with you.

What most people don't understand is that most songs follow patterns. If you've been mistakenly learning songs, one by one, you're only exercising your ability to MEMORIZE chords --- and that's exactly why it takes SO LONG to learn just one song.

BUT...

If you concentrate on LEARNING PATTERNS, you'll never go wrong because songs are built on repeating patterns. You should NEVER EVER have to memorize over 100 songs when they all share the same exact CHORDS, PROGRESSIONS, AND PATTERNS.

So if this makes sense to you should Click here to get more information on the Gospel Piano Course by Hear and Play.

Cheers David
