1. We've Added New and Free Piano Sheets for Christmas!

Christmas is almost here... so I asked Ido (which is responsible for the piano sheets in Piano Play It to make some free printable piano sheets which you can download and play easily.

Not only Ido has made these free piano sheets, he also created three levels of difficulty for each song. By doing so he made sure you could play each of the songs according to your playing level.

2. Wanna Learn to Play the Song "All I Want for Christmas is You"?

I don't know about you but I just love Mariah Carey and her song "All I want for Christmas is You" is simply my favorite Christmas song.

So I made a piano tutorial of it. A really easy one. You just need to know the names of the notes and you'll figure the rest while watching the video.

1. Three Chord Songs - How to Find Them By Ear?

Well, during the past month I've been working really hard to provide you with the best information on how to play piano by chords. I even added free printable piano chord charts with the names and fingerings above the notes so you won't have the chance of losing your way.

As Christmas is almost here a student of mine asked me If I could teach him a few simple Christmas songs with three chords or so. I thought... Man, I should really make a list and add a usefull explanation on how to play these three chord songs by ear.

And That's what I did. In this page you'll find a general list of three chord songs and another list of three chord songs for christmas.

2.How to Play the Blues Scale?

Ready to Learn More About Piano Scales? New Information about the Pentatonic Scale and the Blues Scale has been added to the Piano Scales section.

It's worth reading really... I'll tell you a secret, I'm planning to make a really big section on piano improvisation with lots of piano lessons including free mp3's which you could use while improvising.

We'll be using the pentatonic scale and the blues scale very often since they sound good on every chord progression we'll be learning.

3. How to Play the Song "I Got Rhythm"? and What makes it so Important?

As I've mentioned before, I'm really proud of our piano chord section. It's still growing and soon you'll have plenty of information to learn each and every song you'd like.

"I Got Rhythm" is a famous song written by George Gershwin and I dedicated A whole page to this song since it contains most of the chord progressions I've been teaching in the piano chord section.

So take a moment to play this song, It's really fun to play it.
