Bert Van Den Brink is a well kept secret in the Netherlands.

Bert was Didis' Bridgewater piano player for a few years and he played with the greatest jazz players in the world such as Cannon Aderley, Toots Theilmans and that's just the edge of the list.

Bert was my private teacher at the Utrecht Concervatorium for Music for five years and I've learned a lot from him was being inspired by him.

I wanted to share with you this secret of such a great pianist who also won the VPRO/Boy Edgar Prize winner of 2007. Bert is currently on tour in the Netherlands.

You'd probably notice that Bert is blind in the Clip, well, that didn't stop him from being one of the best pianists in the world. Bert is known for having the best ears in Europe.
