Books to Continue studying with...

Hi Don,

Once my students complete the Aflerd's Basic Later Beginner book I usually ask them to buy the Bastien - Classic Themes By the Masters Music Book.

It's not a method book but as far as dealing with great musical pieces for beginners this book has it all. Some are arranges in a less musical manner but most of them are really beutiful.

At this point I do not use a method book. I would say that you can find everything you need in the Complete Beginners Piano Course.

But you were talking about playing piano chords. To begin with go through the Complete Acoompaniment Course. I guarantee you it is more worthy than any other book I know in the field.

I personally didn't learn and do not teach to play piano by chords with a book but if anyone here knows of a great book please let us know...

Hope this helps...

David
