Hi Mlingani,

Learning to play the piano is a long process that takes years. The best way to learn the piano is by doing it gradually, step by step. If you love the sound of the piano and you love playing it, I'm sure that you can do it. All you need is patience and of course, practicing.

Regarding the reading of the sheet music - I can understand your frustration because it is not easy at all. Music is a language and it takes time to learn it. Many of my students can play lots of songs and compositions but can hardly read sheet music. I teach them very gradually, step by step, and after several years they can read sheet music very well.

Can you read any piano sheet music? If so, please tell me what can you play? Or, you can upload a video of you playing, and I can recommend you what to do.

Memorizing is not easy at all. Have you read a story and tried to memorize it? There are so many things to remember? I wouldn't put to much effort at this stage to memorizing complete compositions.
