1. Piano Playground is taking off! :)

Welcome, welcome and welcome again to the first edition of Piano playground. Piano Play It was founded a few months ago in order to supply great answers to us piano players who seek for the best information that will take us a step further in piano playing.

I decided to do this in order to share my knowledge with you and to learn from you. It takes two to tango. I'll appreciate your comments and remarks. I think of it more as collaboration in order to make us all happy.

During the past months I've been working hard in order to transfer my knowledge into this media and make it accessible to you. In this E-zine I will inform you of what I've been making, direct you to whatever I think you'd find valuable and reply your questions when they appear. I promise to do my best for you.

Good luck to us all! I think it's a beginning of a beautiful friendship.

2.New Free Printable Piano Music is available on piano play it.

One of the best things I did so far was asking my friend Ido to help me with my website. Ido is a terrific musician and he will be responsible for providing you with the best piano sheets there are. He's actually making them himself.

Idos contribution is already live and kicking on the website. Since one of my students had her birthday coming up I asked Ido if he could make me a handy piano sheet for beginners of the song "Happy Birthday". And what do you know?

He made me five of them. Two of the song "Happy Birthday" with melody only and with melody and accompanying, Two sheets of "For he's a jolly good fellow" and an extra reward; A piano sheet of the song "You Say it's Your Birthday" by the Beatles.

I was amazed. These sheets are fantastic. Let me know if you like them too. Click here to go to the Free Piano Sheet Music page Or go directly to the Happy birthday page.

3. The best videos for those who wanna learn to sing and accompany themselves.

All my students without exceptions like to accompany themselves while singing their favorite song. That's why I decided to spend the last days in order to provide you with high quality piano tutorials that will help you to accompany yourself in a cool manner.

This is so simple really. All you need to know is the note names. Just follow my instructions, look carefully and you'll make it. I'm gonna make more videos in the nearby future. It's your chance to write let me know what you're looking for. I promise to do my best for you.

Here are the latest videos of Piano Play It

a. Bob Marley - One Love
This is one of the easiest piano tutorials , still I'm sure you're gonna enjoy playing this cool Reggae groove.

b. John Lennon - Imagine
This is a great song for beginners. With a beautiful melody and a few chords you can learn to accompany yourself to a common pop groove.

c. Whitney Houston - I Will Always Love You
This is the first video I've been making for Piano Play It. I also put it in Youtube and the number of the people who watched this speaks for itself. However, The quality of this video is much higher on our website. Three minutes is all you need to learn this song.

1. Mastering in piano scales. You don't wanna miss this.

O.k. guys really, I'm so proud of having this in my website. Some students find the subject of scales so boring and it's a shame. Getting familiar with scales is the ticket to understanding music.

I've worked hard to cover this issue in a clear and friendly way and I'm curious to know what you think about it. If you wanna study chords a bit more seriously studying scales is a must. Bottom line... Go to the Piano Scales section and follow it page by page. You won't regret it.

2. How to play piano by chords?

Easily! with the Chords Lessons I've been making. My students are eager to play the piano from lesson one. With these Chord Lessons they make their dream come true in no time.
Click here to go to the Piano Chords Lessons. Starting from the introduction is the best.

3. Chords Theory - The secrets behind the world of harmony.

Some of you guys are already going strong in chords playing. Then you would probably like to deepen your understanding in the world of harmony and explore it more seriously. This is a good place to start with. Click here to follow the Piano Chord Theory Lesson.

4. Early Piano History - A friendly article for the curious ones.

I don't know about you guys but I was always so fascinated about how the piano came to be. I mean, it's such a complicated instrument with strings, a wooden box, keys and all. The guy who made this was surely a genius... so I've made a research and you won't believe what I discovered. Click here to read about the Early Piano History.

Comments? Ideas? Feedback? I'd love to hear from you. Just reply to this e-zine and tell me what you think.
