Angels We Have Heard on High Piano Sheet Music, Free and for Beginners
A French carol, Les Anges dans nos campagnes, that reached English in the nineteenth century. Everyone knows it by the long Gloria, the word that runs down a whole scale before it settles. That run is the reason it sounds harder than it is: it is one hand walking down five neighbouring keys.

How this arrangement is laid out
Level 1 is 17 bars for both hands, from G3 up to A4. The right hand begins with the thumb on C4, and moves twice. The left hand sits with the little finger on F3, and stays there. Level 2 fills the same carol out: 17 bars, reaching from G3 to A4, with 2 changes of hand position.
The right hand begins in C position and moves at bars 10 and 14, into D position then C position. Those bars are the ones to practise on their own, slowly, until the move happens without looking down. The left hand sits in F position and stays there.
Level 1 keeps both hands near the middle of the keyboard and gives the left hand the simplest part it can have. The right hand begins in C position and moves at bars 10 and 13, into D position then C position.
