Piano tips

I need some tips on Playing A piano with two Hands,I am so Used on playing with 1 hand only.

Some advice
by: Anonymous

The first thing I would do is start practicing on a real piano. As an experienced piano performer and instructor of many years, I will say with full confidence that if you are serious about playing the piano, then there is no digital instrument that comes close to the feel, sound, and response of a real acoustic instrument, no matter what the salesmen tell you. I have tried playing on all the leading brands and models of digital instruments, and I would never practice a minute on any of them.

Then I would consult a professional pianist who can give you a good assessment of your technical level, and guide you toward improvement.
Hope this helps!

Take a Private Piano Teacher

Hi Danny,

Reading you message I realize you're really motivated. In this case and since you're so curiouse I think you shouldn't compromise on being self tought.

The thing is there is so much to know and especially regarding piano technique you should have someone besides you that will correct you and teach you have to perfect your movement and posture.

So I sugges you visit the Piano Teacher Directory and find a great piano teacher nearby your erea.

For more information on Piano Technique Visit the piano technique section and go through the lessons. You'll find there lots of other important info you're missing.

You have asked me about finding chords to songs as well... Go through the Piano Chord Theory Lesson and continue to learn from there about how to find piano chords easily once you're familiar with the melody...

It sounds like you should also practice your Piano Fingerings Technique

I think it's enough info for now but don't hesitate to ask me more questions after checking these pages o.k.?

"Thank you for your lessons. I took piano lessons as a kid, and I've dabbled off and on for years. My music teacher taught me how to read music and hit all the notes, but I never felt like I was playing for real. I always felt like I was going through the motions, like a machine. Your lessons have changed that, so thanks."

Joshua White from U.S.A
