How to organize my piano practicing time?

by Sharon

Can anyone help me with organizing my piano practicing time?

There's so much I can do and I don't know what to start with.
My time is limited per day. Let's say half an hour or so?

I'm playing the piano for a month now and I could use some order because I really want to get better in playing piano.

Thanks in advanced.
Sharon

How much time should my son dedicate to learn to play the piano in a day?

by Emmy
(Romania)

My son is eight years old. I'd like to get an advice on how much time he should be dedicating everyday to learning to play the piano.

He's playing the piano for a few months now and sits almost everyday next to it without me telling him that has to but he can't sit next to it more then half an hour. Is it enough? Should I be more firmed with him?

Your website is great by the way. John (my son) learned to play the song "Imagine" with one of your tutorials.

Kind regards
Emmy

How to encourage my students to practice 20 minutes a day?

by Bill

I work as a piano teacher for a year and I'd like to get some advice on how to encourage my students to play 20 minutes a day?

Sometimes they practice to little and they are not aware of how long they sit to practice.

Any advice?

How often should I practice the piano?

by Andrew

I'd like get your point of view on how often I should practice the piano.
I'm 17 years old and been playing the piano for two years.
I have to dedicate more time to school lately and my piano teacher says If I go on like this I will not be able to achieve much progress since I play the piano only two times a week at the moment.

What do you think?

How to easily memorize music

I've been playing piano for almost 11 years, but I'm not really so good in comparing with those years I've plaid.

I don't even read notes so well and I'm learning from ur website, I have a problem in remembering the chords and the notes, for exmple, , every time I play a song, my fingers should press on a wrong key, and that's really irritating, is there any way to avoid confusion? and how can I improve my self fast?
