Imagine Piano Tutorial

Before playing make sure you went through the How to Play Piano Chords Lesson. It will give you a clear view on how we're going to learn to accompany ourselves on the piano.

During the Imagine Piano Tutorial we will limit ourself to playing all chord within the range of B under middle C and Bb above middle C. We'll place our left hand on the C position under middle C.

That means that we have to play all five chords in the correct Chord Inversions if we want to play the Imagine Piano Tutorial.

I suggest you first practice playing one chord for each bar (or sometimes two chords in a bar) before you move to the next level and add the groove.

The groove is a pattern in the right hand and the left hand that repeats through the whole song. Click here to learn more about how to groove.
